Skyr!

Skyr is an icelandic yogurt that taste similar to greek yogurt. I am obsessed with this stuff. When i visit iceland my diet consists of skyr and icelandic hot dogs. When I cant dine on these two foods life I suffer from separation anxiety. Now I do not need to worry.. WHOLE FOODS SELLS SKYR! So head over to the dairy section at your local whole foods and get some (Blueberry, Vanilla, Strawberry, or plain) Skyr and add some sugar and milk to it and you'll feel like an icelander!

Blog about blogs and soundcloud

Making music is a passion of mine. A melody comes to my head and then i make a little loop and sometimes I really like the loop then ill add onto it and construct a song. Although I make music mainly for my own pleasure, I post it on a music sharing website called http://www.Soundcloud.com and from there my music has been heard by people around the world. Soundcloud gives you visual and statistical analysis of where your music is played and how much it is listened to. I can spend hours looking through the stats of my songs because i am in utter disbelief that people in places i haven't even heard of have listened to my songs.
Here is an example for one of my songs:
A lot of my listeners find my music from blogs that focus on electronic music.
Being blogged about has spread my music across the globe. I find this matter to be
CRAZY!
Here are some of the blog posts about my music:

Does civilization make people better or worse?

Freud/Conrad Does civilization make people better or worse? Examples?

I believe that civilization can have an effect on a person for better and for worse. The environment is the determining factor of whether you will become better or worse. The congo is referred to as the "darkness" because of its effect on the ego. Kurtz is an example of how the superego is diminished and the id unleashed when visiting the congo. However, take a person who has lived in the congo their whole life. If he or she is taken to London, he will be "civilized" and morals become more relevant thus him becoming a better person.

MY ESSAY

My essay is going to analyze the symbol of ivory and its effect on Kurtz and Marlow. To fully develop my ideas I am going to explore the difference in speech patterns when the word is mentioned or the actually object is around. I think it is important to look at Ivory on the literal level (the importance of it) and on a metaphorical level (as a metaphor for the savage events that happen when obtaining the ivory).

Psychologic Journey

Conrad, through the voice of Marlow, conveys how the savage-like civilization in the congo distorts the mind. Although Conrad was morally straight when he was in Marlow's use of sarcasm and irony leads the reader to understand that he loses his morals when he is in a savage environment. These environments are referred to by Marlow as "dark places." Experiencing being in the congo at a young age like Marlow was a psychologic journey that is unlike post-civilized England.
